My photography is rooted in a fascination with nature, light, and the quiet details that often go unnoticed. I am drawn to landscapes as well as close-up views of natural structures, textures, and forms — often discovered in everyday surroundings or while traveling, particularly in Scandinavia.
My photographic style is minimal and reduced, with a strong focus on composition, color, and atmosphere. Muted blues, greys, earthy tones, black, and white often define my images, creating a visual language that is closely connected to my abstract paintings.
Light plays an essential role in my photography. I am especially interested in fleeting moments when sunlight, shadows, reflections, or a particular quality of golden light transform an otherwise ordinary scene. Rather than documenting a place as a whole, I often focus on fragments and details, reducing what I see to shapes, colors, lines, and textures.
Photography, for me, is a way of observing more closely. It encourages me to slow down and notice the subtle beauty in nature — a surface, a shadow, an unexpected composition, or a brief change in light.
